Obama's Image Tumbles
By virtually every measure, Barack Obama's approval is falling in the eyes of the American people.  Brand new Fox News polling shows that from healthcare to the economy to our standing on the world stage, Obama has failed to impress. The Fox News polling shows that Obama's overall approval rating has fallen to a record low of just 38 percent.  As you can imagine, Democrats and Republicans are wildly split in their approval – Democrats (71 percent) and Republicans (5 percent) – but it's interesting to note that Obama's approval rating among independent voters is just 28 percent. It’s clear that bad public policy and a myriad of lies have led to America giving up on their President.

Foreign Policy
This all leads to Obama's handling of foreign policy.  Remember that a recent Gallup poll found that most Americans believe that Obama is not respected by other world leaders, period.  It's easy to see why this would be the case.  Obama sets red lines and talks a tough game but then fails to stand behind his words.  “This poll was conducted as Russia moved troops into Ukraine's Crimean peninsula.  While the administration had said this would be “a grave mistake,” it was done nonetheless.  Putin does not take us seriously, and why should he?  We've capitulated to his demands over the last few years in a naïve effort to “reset” relations.  Meanwhile, we've projected weakness in our handling of other situations such as Syria.  We've failed to get serious about making America stronger in terms of our energy capabilities and our military.  Our image around the world is fading and it will take decades to rebuild, if we can.

Blow to White House
This has been a rough week for the Obama administration.  Clearly we know what's happening on the world stage.  And then we also had Senate Democrats turn on the president and reject his nominee to head of the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice.  This is a big deal as seven Democrats joined 44 Republicans to reject the move to proceed with the confirmation of Debo Adegbile.  Mr. Adegbile, the former director of the NAACP's Legal Defense Fund, had come under a lot of criticism for defending a man by the name of Mumia Abu-Jamal who was a convicted cop killer. By the way, on the same day that the Senate rejected Adegbile's nomination, according to the Daily Caller, the NAACP praised the release of another cop killer Marshall "Eddie" Conway, a former Black Panther leader. The Idea Texas Could Turn Purple is Pure Fantasy - Posted by Joeybear23
I do find it interesting that liberal democrats have Texas in their crosshairs as a state they believe they can turn purple (change from majority republican to moderate or a split-vote battleground state). Read more from this blog. In short, please Democrats PLEASE continue to waste your money here in TX, and maybe some other purple and blue states will turn RED from your neglect.
